Hospitality and Tourism Student Membership

HTMA Student Membership is available to those actively enrolled, part-time or full-time, in any degree program specifically relating to hospitality, tourism, lodging or restaurant management.

HTMA Student Members gain insight into the hospitality and lodging industries. They receive the association's regular communications and publications. They can attend HTMA workshops and seminars at special member prices. Finally, HTMA Student Member applicants for HTMA Educational Foundation scholarships are given priority consideration.
Students from over 50 countries have already joined the HTMA global network. Student Members Internship and other Opportunities

The Hospitality and Tourism Marketing Association (HTMA) supports students pursuing the specialization in Hospitality and Tourism Studies, but open for membership to all students who have an interest in hospitality and tourism; hotel and resort management; food and beverage service/restaurants; institutional food service management; convention, event, and meeting planning; or management positions in casino gaming, entertainment, festivals, amusement parks, or local, state, and national parks and recreation.

HTMA seeks to improve opportunities for:
  • enhancing career development such as internships and shadowing opportunities, professional association conventions and seminars, membership in national honoraries, site visits.
  • contributing to the growth in size and stature of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry  research activities and project.
  • promoting social activities and among student members and others with similar interests, including local and distance travel and;
  • informing students, faculty, administration, parents, alumni, and the community through public relations and a society website.
